UAE Visit Visa Options 2026: 30, 60 and 90 Days
The UAE offers visit visa options for 30, 60 and 90 days, each in single-entry or multiple-entry form. A five-year multiple-entry tourist visa is also available. Single-entry visas suit one trip. Multiple-entry visas suit frequent travel. This guide compares the UAE visit visa options in 2026 and helps you pick the right one.
- Pick your stay length: 30, 60 or 90 days.
- Choose single-entry, or multiple-entry if you will leave and return.
- Apply on ICP or GDRFA, or through an Amer centre.
UAE visit visa options in 2026
A UAE visit visa lets you stay for tourism, family visits or business. In 2026, the choice comes down to two things. How long you want to stay, and how many times you need to enter. The standard single-entry visa is now often 60 days for many nationalities, up from the old 30-day default.
You apply through ICP for most emirates, or GDRFA for Dubai. Airlines, hotels and licensed agents can also arrange one. The wider set of changes this year is in our UAE visa new rules 2026 guide.
30, 60 and 90 day visas and costs
Each duration comes in a single-entry and a multiple-entry version. Prices vary by nationality and provider, so treat these as guide ranges. Always confirm the final fee before you pay.
| Visit visa | Single entry (approx.) | Multiple entry (approx.) |
|---|---|---|
| 30 days | AED 450 to 750 | AED 850 to 1,200 |
| 60 days | AED 530 to 770 | AED 1,350 to 1,700 |
| 90 days | AED 800 to 1,180 | AED 1,100 to 1,480 |
One rule of thumb saves money. If your trip might run long, buy the longer visa from the start. Extending later usually costs more than the gap between a 30-day and a 60-day visa. More on that below.
Single entry vs multiple entry
The difference is simple but important. A single-entry visa is cancelled the moment you leave the UAE. That is true even if you still have unused days left. So it only works for one trip in and out.
A multiple-entry visa lets you leave and return as often as you like within its validity. It costs around AED 100 to AED 300 more. If you plan a day trip to Oman, or you fly in and out for work, the multiple-entry version quickly pays for itself. For a single holiday, single entry is fine.
The five-year tourist visa
For frequent visitors, the five-year multiple-entry tourist visa is the best value. It gives unlimited entries over five years, with no local sponsor. You can stay up to 90 days per visit, and extend by another 90 days. Your total stay cannot exceed 180 days in a year.
To qualify, you show a bank balance of about USD 4,000 across your last six months of statements. The visa is now open to more nationalities, including India, Pakistan and the Philippines. On the GDRFA Dubai portal, the fee is around AED 1,200 to 1,600, plus a refundable guarantee of AED 3,000. You apply through ICP or GDRFA smart services with UAE Pass, or at an Amer centre.
Extensions and how to apply
Most 30 and 60-day visit visas can now be extended from inside the UAE. Since December 2025, you can do it fully online through the ICP portal or the GDRFA Dubai platform. You no longer need to exit and re-enter. An Amer centre can also handle it for you.
A 30-day extension usually costs around AED 600 to 800. That is often more than simply buying a 60-day visa at the start, so plan ahead where you can. Whatever visa you choose, do not let it lapse. If you overstay, a fine of AED 50 a day applies, as our UAE overstay fine 2026 guide explains. If a visa on arrival suits you better, see our guide for Indian passport holders. Frequently asked questions
How long can I stay on a UAE visit visa?
You can choose a 30, 60 or 90 day visit visa, and the standard single-entry visa is now often 60 days for many nationalities. The five-year multiple-entry tourist visa lets you stay up to 90 days per visit, extendable by another 90 days, as long as your total stay stays under 180 days a year.
How much does a UAE visit visa cost in 2026?
As a guide, a 30-day single-entry visa costs around AED 450 to 750, a 60-day around AED 530 to 770, and a 90-day around AED 800 to 1,180. Multiple-entry versions cost more. Prices vary by nationality and provider, so confirm the final fee before you pay.
Should I choose single or multiple entry?
Choose single entry for one trip in and out, as it is cheaper. Choose multiple entry if you will leave and return, for example a trip to Oman or regular business travel. A single-entry visa is cancelled the moment you leave, even with unused days, so it does not allow a second entry.
Can I extend a UAE visit visa without leaving?
Yes. Since December 2025, most 30 and 60-day visit visas can be extended fully online through ICP or GDRFA, with no exit and re-entry. A 30-day extension costs around AED 600 to 800. If your trip might run long, buying a longer visa upfront is often cheaper than extending later.
