Darb Toll Abu Dhabi: Charges, Timings and Registration
Darb is Abu Dhabi’s road toll system. You pay AED 4 each time you pass a Darb gate during peak hours, which run from 7am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm every day except Sundays and public holidays. There is no longer a daily or monthly cap on the total. You must register your vehicle first, which costs a one-time AED 100.

How the Darb toll works?
Darb is the toll gate system run by Abu Dhabi Mobility, the emirate’s transport authority. It works much like Salik in Dubai. Each gate reads your vehicle automatically as you drive through, and the charge is deducted from your Darb account.
The charge is AED 4 for every crossing during peak hours. There is no cash booth and no need to stop. Because it is fully automatic, the only thing you need to manage is your account balance and making sure your vehicle is registered before you use the toll roads.

One important change to note: Abu Dhabi Mobility removed the daily and monthly toll caps for private vehicles. In the past there was a ceiling on how much you paid per day and per month, but that no longer applies. Each peak-hour crossing is now charged in full at AED 4.
